Lindsay -- My WHITE Dress Stands for INNOCENCE

Lindsay Lohan wanted to make a statement during her arraignment today -- a fashion statement -- and consciously chose her solid WHITE dress to symbolize her innocence ... TMZ has learned.

Lindsay claims the white get-up -- a Kimberly Ovitz creation -- also stands for purity ... which would make a lot of sense if the damn thing weren't so short.

Innocent or not -- she looked pretty hot.

Judge CRUSHES Lohan -- 'Don't Push Your Luck!'

Lindsay Lohan was just remanded into custody -- following a STRONG warning from Judge Keith Schwartz -- "You're no different than anyone else ... please don't push your luck."

Moments after Lohan entered a not guilty plea in her felony theft case -- the judge came down on her like a ton of bricks ... telling her "things will be different" this time around because she's on the hook for a felony.

During the hearing, Judge Schwartz said Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, and prosecutor Danette Meyers, were going to meet to possibly reach a plea bargain.

Lohan -- alongside attorney Holley -- was then remanded into custody ... and is currently being booked.

Judge Schwartz set her bail at $20,000 -- but warned, "If you violate the law, I will remand you and there will be NO BAIL."

The judge also revoked Lindsay's probation in the DUI case and set bail at $20,000 -- so total bail is $40,000.

Lohan was also ordered to refrain from contacting the jewelry store during the case, after Meyers said someone had sent the store owners flowers, which kind of freaked them out.

Ashlee Simpson Files for Divorce

Ashlee Simpson just filed for divorce from hubby Pete Wentz.

In documents filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Simpson cites "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the divorce.

She's asking for joint legal custody and primary physical custody of two-year-old Bronx.

Simpson, who is repped by disso queen Laura Wasser, is also asking for spousal and child support.   Wentz is repped by Stacy Phillips.

Sources tell TMZ there is no prenup. The couple married in May, 2008.

The couple just released a joint statement, saying, "After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to file for divorce.

We remain friends and deeply committed and loving parents to our son Bronx, whose happiness and well-being remains our number one priority. We ask that everyone honor our privacy as we navigate this next phase of our lives."

NFL Tight End Accused of Assaulting Woman

Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis has been accused of assaulting a woman in a D.C. area nightclub early this morning.

According to law enforcement sources, Davis -- a 2nd round draft pick in 2008 -- was identified as a suspect in a police report filed early this morning ... after an alleged altercation between the NFL player and a female clubgoer.

The woman told police she was hanging out at Josephine nightclub -- when Davis approached her in an "aggressive" manner and grabbed her ... so she threw a drink on him.

A short time later, she claims, Davis retaliated by throwing a drink back on her -- and then striking her in the lip with an object. Sources at the club tell us the woman claimed she was hit with a champagne bottle.

Law enforcement sources tell us the club is equipped with surveillance cameras which captured the confrontation ... and cops will review the footage.

So far, no charges have been filed -- and we're told Davis is expected to speak with cops sometime today to give his side of the story.

Davis' people had no comment.

UPDATE: A Law enforcement official who reviewed the security tape tells us Davis appeared to be reaching for the woman in a calm manner when she threw the first drink in his face.

We're told Davis can be seen approaching the woman a short time later with a plastic bottle -- eventually pouring the contents on the woman and then throwing the bottle at her ... however the woman didn't appear injured.

The video then shows bystanders getting in between Davis and the woman -- and in the commotion, someone elbowed the woman in the mouth ... causing a cut inside of her upper lip.

Davis has since told NBCWashington.com that he threw "orange juice" on the woman.

Dr. Conrad Murray -- I 'Love' MJ's Mom

Doctor Conrad Murray claims it's been hard for him to watch Michael Jackson's mother Katherine grieve over the death of her son ... because he "loves" her like his own mother.

Murray was out shopping at Nordstrom in Santa Monica yesterday -- hopefully looking to replace the awful paisley tie he wore on the first day of his manslaughter prelim -- when he told photogs, "It's hard to see [Katherine] grieving ... I care about her as much as I care about my own mother."

Murray added, "I love her very much."

Judgment Day for Howard K. Stern

Howard K. Stern just arrived at the downtown L.A. criminal courthouse for his sentencing in the Anna Nicole Smith drug conspiracy trial.

Stern, and Khristine Eroshevich -- who accompanied him to court -- were both convicted of conspiring to use a false name for Anna to get prescription drugs.

The prosecution -- surprisingly -- is not asking for jail time.  After pursuing the pair with a vengeance, prosecutors are asking for probation and community service.

Jaime Pressly Busted for DUI

Jaime Pressly was arrested late Wednesday night for suspicion of driving under the influence ... law enforcement sources tell.

The "My Name Is Earl" star was driving in Santa Monica at around 11PM when she was stopped.  We're told cops took notice of her vehicle after she allegedly committed a traffic violation.

A field sobriety test was performed and Jaime was arrested and booked on suspicion of DUI.

She was taken to the Santa Monica jail and held on $15,000 bail.

UPDATE:  Law enforcement sources tell there were no drugs in Jaime's car.  We're also told no children were in the car.  And, we know, there was no car accident.  The only other circumstance in which bail is set at $15,000 -- the normal amount is $5,000 -- is when the driver's blood-alcohol level is higher than .15.  We have not, however, been able to confirm Jaime's level.

Lindsay Lohan -- Targeted in Parking Crackdown

Lindsay Lohan's already in trouble for breaking the law in Beverly Hills -- cops decorated the actresses Mercedes with a big, fat parking ticket yesterday while LiLo visited a friend.

Lindsay seemed a little shocked by the citation -- which we're told will run her a cool $65.

Power Balance Bracelets are Total BS ... Says Lawsuit

If you still don't understand how those super-trendy "Power Balance" bracelets make you into a better athlete ... it's because they don't -- this according to a new lawsuit

The class action lawsuit, filed this week in federal court in L.A., alleges consumers were duped into believing the hologram-embedded band was scientifically proven to enhance balance, flexibility and strength. There was just one small problem -- there's no hard proof to back those claims.

In fact, the suit claims Power Balance honchos admitted they had "no credible scientific evidence that supported the representations" -- but continued to "mislead" the public anyway ... selling 3 million units in just three years.

The lawsuit claims Power Balance needs to shell out more than $5,000,000 to make things right with consumers.

So far, no word if famous band-supporters like Kobe Bryant, Shaq or Paul Pierce will join the class

Dr. Conrad Murray -- Crime of Fashion

Dr. Conrad Murray's butt-ugly tie -- poor fashion sense ... or ploy to distract attention from that whole Michael Jackson manslaughter preliminary hearing thingy?

Lindsay's Battery 'Victim' to Cops: 'Back Off!'

The former Betty Ford employee who filed the battery report against Lindsay Lohan thinks the Palm Desert Police Department is out of line by gunning for LiLo, and thinks cops should "back off."

Dawn Holland, who was fired from Betty Ford after the December 12 altercation, tells , "Lindsay has got enough to deal with as is ... they just need to back off and let it go."

Holland is suspicious of the Palm Desert cops' motive, saying they seem to be going way out of their way to nail Lindsay.

The Michael Jackson Prelim Fashion Report

The Jackson clan turned day 2 of the Conrad Murray/Michael Jackson manslaughter prelim into a couture runway show.

Alleged Miley Cyrus Hacker -- Busted by FBI

The guy who allegedly broke into Miley Cyrus' email account two years ago and flooded the Internet with scandalous pics of the underaged pop star was just arrested -- but NOT for hacking Hannah Montana.

According to federal court docs, Josh Holly was busted in Nashville last Thursday after FBI agents seized and searched his computer ... allegedly finding several unauthorized credit card account numbers.

Law enforcement sources claim Holly -- who reportedly bragged online about pilfering semi-nude pics of Miley from her email account -- admitted to hacking into Cyrus' MySpace ... but hasn't yet faced charges stemming from the incident.

Lindsay Lohan: The Cops Are Out to Get Me!

Sources extremely close to Lindsay Lohan tell Lindsay feels the Palm Desert Police Department is out to get her.

The Palm Desert PD tried to strong-arm the L.A. County Probation Department into coming to Betty Ford and arresting Lindsay last month after her scuffle with a BF staffer.

We're told Lindsay feels the PD is trying to torpedo her recovery, telling friends, "They shouldn't be negatively trying to hurt me when I'm doing the right thing."

And, we're told, Lindsay is adamant that she never drank or did drugs at Betty Ford.

Lindsay is saying she's "really confident" her probation will not be violated and she won't be charged with a crime in Palm Desert.
Ronnie from "Jersey Shore" is convinced the guy he coldcocked last summer on Season One was just a fame whore who picked a fight to get on TV ... and now, the "Jersey" star says he can prove it.

Ronnie's manager Matt Cohen tells ... Stephen Izzo had encountered "Jersey" producers three weeks before the fight and signed a release form to appear on the show

Cohen claims Izzo realized he needed conflict to score screen time -- so he went home and concocted a plan to provoke Ronnie into a fight on camera ... and we all know how that went.

Ronnie's manager believes the release form proves Izzo "obviously wanted to be on the show" -- and was willing to do whatever it took to make that happen.

Izzo's currently suing Ronnie and MTV over the punch -- claiming, among other things, invasion of privacy and unauthorized use of his image.

Ronnie was indicted by a grand jury in New Jersey last month over the scuffle -- charged with one count of third-degree assault ... and he could face up to five years in prison if convicted.

Cops: Lindsay Under the Influence at Betty Ford

Law enforcement sources tell  Palm Desert Police Department officials believe Lindsay Lohan was under the influence of drugs or alcohol while at Betty Ford.

The PD believes Lindsay committed violations of her probation -- apart from the alleged December 12 battery.   Sources say the cops believe Lindsay was under the influence of drugs or alcohol -- which would be a violation of her probation in the Beverly Hills DUI case.  And they believe she violated probation by refusing to submit to a breathalyzer.

The former Betty Ford staffer who filed the battery complaint against Lindsay -- and then said she didn't want Lindsay prosecuted -- has told she believed Lindsay was under the influence of alcohol on the night of the incident.

It's curious that Palm Desert cops are weighing in on a probation violation outside their jurisdiction.

But Shawn Chapman Holley  tells , "I had numerous conversations with Betty Ford counselors and doctors and it was never suggested by anyone that she ever drank or used drugs."

Holley adds, "Her discharge letter is totally consistent with that."

Lindsay Lohan -- Mystery Probation Violations

The Palm Desert PD has just said they believe Lindsay Lohan committed multiple probation violations  in her scuffle last month with a former Betty Ford staffer -- and the PD is referring the case to prosecutors.

A rep for the Palm Desert PD says, "The investigation and facts in evidence has revealed other possible violations by Ms. Lohan relating to certain conditions of her probation terms."

After the alleged battery, a lieutenant from the Palm Desert PD notified Lindsay's probation officer in Los Angeles of the incident and tried to strong-arm her into coming to the Palm Springs area and arresting Lindsay -- but the probation officer refused.

Lohan's lawyer believes the Palm Desert PD is out to get her client.

It's unclear if the police believe LL had engaged in substance abuse that night, however, a law enforcement source says she did refuse a breathalyzer.

Gary Collins Arrested for Felony Dine and Dash

It's been rough going for Gary Collins ...  the former Miss America/"Hour Magazine" host has been arrested for allegedly defrauding an innkeeper.

Collins -- who has been arrested 3 times and convicted twice of DUI -- was busted in Biloxi, Mississippi Tuesday at 10:39 PM.  According to employees at the restaurant, they told him as he left he had to pay his bill, but Collins ignored them.  The employees even followed him out to the parking lot ... in vain.

Collins allegedly ordered food at Jazzeppi's Restaurant and left without paying his $59.35 bill.  Get this ... refusing to pay a restaurant bill for anything over $25 in Ole Miss is a FELONY!

He was released early this morning on $5,000 bail.

Favre Accusers: Jets Shut Us Out Before Lawsuit

Before two masseuses sued Brett Favre for sexual harassment they made a last ditch appeal to the NY Jets to get their jobs back, but were denied ... according to an attorney for the women.

Christina Scavo and Shannon O'Toole's lawyer David Jaroslawicz tells  he sent a letter in November ... asking the Jets to rehire them.

In the lawsuit -- filed yesterday -- the women claim the Jets stopped hiring them after Scavo's husband confronted Favre about text messages he allegedly sent proposing a rendezvous with her.

Jaroslawicz says he and the Jets went back and forth ... but ultimately they refused to put Scavo and O'Toole back on the payroll -- and it was only then that they decided to sue Favre and the team to recoup lost wages.

Scavo and O'Toole were never officially "terminated" by the Jets -- because sources associated with the team say the women were not Jets employees ... but independent contracted workers.

'Baywatch' Star Sues Agent -- I Want My $100K Back!

Ex "Baywatch" star David Charvet -- who played buff lifeguard-man Matt Brody -- claims he got screwed over by the one guy who's supposed to have his back ... his agent ... and now the actor's out $100,000.

Charvet filed the lawsuit Monday in L.A. County Superior Court -- claiming he loaned his agent Tom Chasin the six figure sum last June for a period of six months ... but the December deadline came and went, and Charvet still hasn't seen a penny of it.

No word on what the loan was for, but Charvet wants payback asap -- demanding the $100,000 he loaned out, plus interest.

Calls to Chasin haven't been returned.
